Tramacet General Information
Tramacet is a medicine made from combination of tramadol with acetaminophen. Tramadol is classified under a medicine group known as the opioid analgesics; on the other hand acetaminophen is classifies under the medicine group known as analgesics. This medication is used to treat moderate to severe pain in adults. It on the central nervous system and that is how the pain is decreased. Each light yellow, film-coated, capsule-shaped tablet, marked “J-C” on one side and “T/P” on the other, contains tramadol 37.5mg and acetaminophen 325mg. Non-medicinal ingredients are: hypromellose, carnauba wax, polyethylene glycol, magnesium stearate, polysorbate80, pregelatinized starch, powdered cellulose, starch, sodium starch glycolate, iron oxide (yellow) and titanium dioxide. It is strictly recommended to consult the doctor before taking this medication and doses should also be monitored according to the medical prescription. Patients allergic to tramadol, acetaminophen, other opioid medications (for example: codeine, morphine), or to any of the ingredient on the label should not take this medication. Patients suffering from Liver problems, Kidney disorders, Asthma should consult with the doctor before consuming this medication.
